Scaling Graphs
Today in class I created a graph through Kidz Zone to express the reading level differences in the state of West Virginia versus the national standards. I compared the state and national levels for the years 2005, 2007, and 2009. After we created the graph we uploaded into our google documents, saved it, and published it as a webpage.

Crappy Graphs
Today in class we learned about a new online tool to create quick and easy graphs called Crappy Graphs. Below is a link to click on to see my crappy graph that I created using the Per Pupil Expenditures statisics from the National Center of Educational Statistics. Also, using the snipping tool there is a picture of the crappy graph that I made.

Rubistar
Today in class we created a Rubistar account. Rubistar is an online tool that you can use to create rubrics for assessing performance. This site allows you to find other rubrics that will help you create your own rubric. You can choose a template rubric to edit to suit your own project. I added Rubistar to my delicious account to use for future reference.
